PKHeX won't save any changes after I click export save and replace the old 'main' file

I'm running a MacBook Air 2020 M1 on Sonoma 14.1.1 and my PKHeX version is 20221218, run on wineCX. I'm modifying Ultra Sun on Citra and when I replace the 'main' file with the modified version, PKHeX exits (it doesn't say anthing about crashing, and I don't know if its supposed to do that) but the old 'main' file is still there and was not replaced. I've tried many things without success. Do I need to install some updates or is it more complicated?

PKHeX doesn't exit automatically when exporting a save file. If there's an error log, that would be helpful, otherwise you can try saving elsewhere and manually moving the file. I don't think it's an issue with PKHeX.

That's also not the latest version of PKHeX, so...
