Patesaus77
Hello Seis here, quick backstory. When i was younger i used to play Pokemon gen 4-5 on my R4 card which is run on a SD card. One day i unforunately deleted all of my files on my Micro SD. Yesterday i used two programs called Testdrill and DiskDrill to essentially revive my save files. I have fetched 13 (26 if you count both the software) save files which i checked on PkHex. Only one of them (Pokemon Soul Silver) hasn't been corrupted. I checked it on Pokegen as well and the same happend there. The next step would be to check the binary code of the Save files to see what's wrong by using HxD, right? But i have no experience with that software or in Hexadecimals in general. Do you think the cause of the corrupted save file is me trying to ressurect the old save files? Can someone try to find what's happening in my save files. I'll link a zip file of all of my saves. The SoulSilver one has only a Cyndaquil in it. I'd appreciate it! Anyone can also contact my on Discord, my username is Seisman there.. ds saves testdrill 1.zip
Kaphotics
None of that savedata is anything savedata like; many files are either nonsense / junk, and some have pieces of RAM/ROM data from the games instead of save data.
Patesaus77
Ah that makes sense. It would be near impossible to undo all of that, right? It's still interesting how the SoulSilver save is still completely in tact.
