My Platinum .sav File Won't import into PkHeX

I can't get my .sav file from my Platinum ROM to load into PkHeX. I am using DeSmuMe and went to Export Backup Memory, but the .sav file created from that won't import into PkHeX. Changed PkHeX to Platinum Blank Save Version and went to import the .sav, but this is the error message I receive:

I don't understand how the file could be corrupted or not the right size. I have done this exact same process before and never had this error come up. Please help!

That save is empty. Make sure to save ingame before exporting the save file.

Wow . That completely slipped my mind, but now that I saved in-game I got it to work. Thanks for the help!
