Switching Mounts on Scarlet

As much as I love Koraidon in the cutscenes, riding it is another story. I wanna be able to stay true to Scarlet but at the same time I want the futuristic feeling of riding Miraidon in the overworld. Is there a certain part in the Block Data that can help me achieve this?

Sorry, nope. You can effectively switch Koraidon to Miraidon (or any other Pokemon) when putting it in battle form, but the ride mount is hard coded in the game version.

Are you certain about that? I've seen some folks say otherwise on other mods sites. Hell, I was hoping to hear it from the developer of PkHex himself if there was anything I could do since he knows about this more than anyone

Not dev but the ride is hard coded into the ROM. How you’ll know: transfer the save from Scarlet to Violet, and the mount shown is the game’s corresponding mount.

 

if it were a value that could be edited in the save, the mount would retain.
