usernameuser69420 Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 I have seen variations of this issue but my friend is having trouble getting his save file loaded into pkhex and it also cannot launch in citra, leading me to believe it is truly corrupted. With that said I was wondering if any of you had a file that looked like the attached file below. The save is of a randomized nuzlocke of Omega Ruby that has worked in the past but now is not working and we have no backup of it. Any help restoring this file would be greatly appreciated! main
Kaphotics Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 File is corrupt; looks like everything 00 was replaced with 20 -- not a single 00 is present in the save file. PKHeX does keep a backup folder, but only if you choose to keep one when prompted.

Yeah I noticed this was the case... Any idea if I could replace every 00 with a 20 and get a working file? If not it's looking pretty unlikely I'll get the file back.
