Illegal Gimmighoul

So I couldn't get a shiny Gimmighoul during the event. I got the data file for a legal Gimmighoul that I had in-game and was hoping to make it shiny through PKHex. I boot the file and apparently it's an illegal Pokemon because it's unable to match the origin encounter from the game and all of its unmodified base moves from when it was captured were also illegal. How do I fix this and turn it shiny while it being legal?
