Is there anyway to reset whatever flags exist regarding battling legendaries in ORAS?

I’ve recently got back into my Pokemon after modding my 3DS, and finally collected all of the legendaries in the game. Unfortunately, I didn’t understand a thing about shiny hunting and would like to go back and attempt some of these hunts myself. Is there any software or known method of resetting such flags in the game? Any assistance would be much appreciated.
