Help with recovering Pokemon Heartgold savedata

Hi! So my roommate gave me a Pokemon Heartgold cartridge to use with a Pokewalker. It turns out that the cartridge was a reproduction cart and wasn't able to use infrared. I was still curious and saw that he had a lot of progress in the game. However, when I tried to play the game it just gave a black screen. I tried using the save data with PkHex and it said that it was invalid. If there is anything that I can do to recover this save please let me know.

You're gonna need a different way to extract this save.



Bunch of garbled nonsense, and at some point started showing YO-KAI watch in the file.

Presumably 3DS + Checkpoint isn't working for you.

Try dumping it with TWLsaveTool.
