In-game egg transfer causes illegal Pokemon?

I'm trying to get a legal Perrserker in Scarlet/Violet with the egg move Curse. Within PKHex it shows up as legal, but in-game it won't be tradable, stating there is something wrong with the Pokemon. I've found out that Perrseker without egg moves is tradable though. From there I tried to get the move in-game instead, but the moment I transfer Curse (through a picnic using Torkoal with Curse and a Mirror Herb), the game finds it illegal. Any clues as to why a legitimate in-game action makes the Perrserker illegal? Forgetting Curse also makes it legal again.

Nothing to do with PKHeX. If you can legitimately transfer the move, but can’t use it online, then it’s the server that messed up.

Wouldn’t be the first time. In SWSH, Cap Pikachu could get Pichu’s egg moves via the move transfer, but it can’t be used online.
