michaljeksen Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 I tried recovering my old pokemon platinum save off of my r4 card but it appears to be corrupted. I tried opening the save in PKSM on my CFW homebrew 3ds but it was showing bad eggs and it crashed as soon as i tried navigating. I also tried it on pkhex but it didnt even open the save can someone please check if anything is recoverable. Thanks for reading. 1523 Pokemon Platin Edition(DE).savFetching info...

Expand Open the file with an hex editor like HxD https://mh-nexus.de/en/downloads.php?product=HxD20 If you only see 00's or FF's, the file is empty. Besides that the proper save size for Gen 4 is 512KB, yours is twice as large. Are there any other files on your card where the data could have been saved to?
