LeyendaV Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 I just updated to the latest version (23.02.27 by the time this tread was created). As soon as I double click on the exe file the RAM usage of my PC rises to 99% and becomes completely unusable, to the point only a hard reset "fixes" the issue. Tried several times, always the same. I simply can't use the newest version.
Kaphotics Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 In the cfg.json, try changing: "TryDetectRecentSave": true, to "TryDetectRecentSave": false, Other than that, I don't see how PKHeX launching could be any issue. Is it taking all your RAM if you look in Task Manager?

Akunoko Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 (edited) Also noticed it, so I checked - actually this happens since 23.01.26, any previous versions do not messing RAM. Not really 99% though, each loaded app sucks up about 4GB. (I'm suppose it is specific .net7 issue on win7 and probably some other OS except cancerous w10+ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) Edited March 31, 2023 by Akunoko
