Is there any way to hack the original Diamond/Pearl player outfits into Platinum?

I want to use the original outfit for at least the first half of my upcoming run, then switch to the Platinum look when it's time to head up to Snowpoint City.

Basically ROM hack to change all the associated sprites. Then when it’s time for Platinum, switch back to the original ROM

I don't suppose there would be any way to do it with the actual game card, is there? I don't have a flashcart.
