Editing pokemon

So to edit a pokemon you need to hold and drag it to the preview mon to edit it, well with the new update that doesn't happen anymore, I cant edit already bred or captured pokemons as it sticks with the only one you can gen (like the dummy arceus for bdsp) anyone knows why
