Blaze Black 2 Redux ROM is "too large" for PkHeX

BlazeBlack2Redux.ndsHi, so I saw another thread that seemingly had the same issue so I apologize for repeating questions; 

I downloaded a new desmume version just as was suggested, but it didn't get rid of the blank filled space on the rom. Unsure if this is a BB2 Redux thing or there was something the guy did in the background to get rid of the excess filespace, but if someone could figure out how/why it won't trim back down, it would be greatly appreciated

You're not suppose to use the ROM on PKHeX. You're only supposed to use the save.

Also make sure you save in-game, not 'saving' via save states.
