Question about Pokemon Gen 3 - Met level 0

Hello I was wondering if a pokemon can have met level 0 in Gen III. PkHex says that the pokemon is legit and if i change the met level it says that it is expecting met level 0. I know met level is tied to the PID and everything but is met level 0 actually legit? Like could it happen in game?

My understanding is that pokemon bred in gen 3 have met level 0, but I could be wrong.

Yes level 0 is correct.

Even though Pokemon in gen 3 actually hatch on level 5, in the data it will allways be level 0. That is how the game detects the Pokemon as "hatched from an egg".
