Original Color Magearna Legality

hello, i am have a little issue with my Magearna for some reason it keeps spitting up an error, is this normal or is it something else thats wrong?

Blue arrow: fill up the details as pointed out by this arrow
Red arrow: right click at the bottom area shown, so the green box shifts as per this arrow

that area has been filled, but when the green target box is on latest the legality says its good, then when i set it in a box i get the same error

01 is what happens when i load that pkm or from a save normally

02 is after i did what you said

03 is what i did after 02 i put that legal one in a box then it repeats back to 01

my pkhex doesn't say it needs to be updated

I'm under the impression you didn't set the legal one. As I've shown, I've set it and it appears fine.

Nothing new really. All I did was do the exact same steps as I've mentioned (and the same steps that I've seen you do).

I get the feeling that maybe your copy isn't setting it right for some weird reason.

Delete PKHeX, then freshly redownload the latest version.

deleted the one i was using and downloaded PKHeX 21.10.01 and just tried it and i am getting the same error could something in here be the issue, cfg.json?

Edit: just tried Dev build and same issue

that's mighty odd. don't think it's the cfg.json.

Does that issue happen to any other mon?

well magearna is the only one with that issue, but it seems that it doesnt stick with the latest trainer for me but when i loaded yours it loaded with the latest

is it because i traded it from this save to another then back again?

also just checked the Mystery Gift that pkhex has on it is the SID supposed to be 0000?

it doesn't need to have SID 0, that's just you being mistaken.

But yeah, if this is the gift Magearna, it should not have your save's OT, TID, SID anyway..

It can have whatever OT/TID/SID; it follows the HOME account. The HOME’s trainer details will not be that of your save.

Don't generate one from scratch. Use the Mystery Gift Database. It'll generate a proper one for you.
