Only getting 1xp from Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon on Citra after using PKHeX

Near the beginning but the problem didn't start until later on. On the second island about.

This could be a game problem that mitigates any hacking (not just PKHeX), but then again I've only heard this happen on Citra.

Sadly, there's no known fix.

My advice is: don't hack your save at the beginning. Wait till you've unlocked trading before you hack your save.
Next, make sure your game is not modified in any way. It would be ideal if it's a fresh dump from your own 3DS.

alright I guess I will just use PKHeX to get a bunch of Rare Candy and level up that way.
