when I try to load my pokemon platinum.sav file it does not load. it gives me the error message "attempted to load an unsupported file type/size. what can I do to fix this issue?

upload your save here. (and only your save)

I opened your file in a hex editor, and it appeared to be a nocash file.

As such, follow the instructions here:


(Open your .ini file, change SAV/SNA file format == xxx to SAV/SNA file format == Raw. If it doesn't work, use the supplied .ini file.)

I ended up using your .ini file, thanks for helping me out! I watched a tutorial already about the basic functions but if any more problems come up I'll be sure to ask here :P

Anyway, use a Hex editor, snip off the end, and it'll load in PKHeX

probably extraction method or something. Just remember to remove the extra bytes in the future.

As for injecting back into your game, you *may* need the extra bytes back after editing.
