Edit: Updated PKHex to the current version, backups still won't save in the "bak" folder.

Launching the program correctly will cause the backup location to be right next to the executable. Not sure what you've done wrong.

Nevermind; I tried opening the executable while a bak folder already existed. I just moved the executable to a new folder and it works! Thanks
