How to tell if you have a genuine GBA console or a Chinese knock off or replica?

I can only assume this is a listing you're considering buying.

At first glance it seems fine. Tho buy at your own risk.

I guess one way to know for sure is to take it apart and check the motherboard and stuff.
One could use official shell and buttons on a fake motherboard. (don't know why they'll do that, but the possibility is there)

 

edit: Also depending on price, might rather you just get a 2nd hand NDS/NDS lite. Backlight and can play GBA games + DS games.
