my main file of pokemon shield doesn't open

when i drag or open the main file it only shows me the name and the hour when i saved but nothing else and if i modify something it doesn't change in the game

1. How are you obtaining your main file (CFW, save manager, the details)
2. Do you happen to have a "CFW" and "OFW" on your device?
3. Follow up from question 2, if you of, are you trying to back up a OFW save using CFW JKSV/Checkpoint/other save manager?

I use yuzu on pc so I use the main file in the saves folder

How are you saving the game?

Yuzu it's an emulator for pc I save in the game and find the main in the folder

I know Yuzu is an emulator for the PC, that's not what I'm asking.

This occurs a lot with people on Citra, because they use Save states and expect that to work.
Since Yuzu doesn't seem to support save states at the moment, I guess that won't be a problem.

For starters, what you should try to do is:
1. save twice in-game (press x to open in game menu, navigate to the save button)
2. close the emulator fully
3. then try to load the save in PKHeX.

i just tried saving twice but it doesn't work.

i have always saved in game and i never used the save states

You mind taking a screenshot of where you’re getting the save from?

nope it restarts from the beginning

i made a mistake: i have deleted all the save folder beafore but now i deleted only the main and it starts from where i saved

Hmm, so you deleted the main but the game continues.

Looks like the save is elsewhere then. Did you do this to get to that folder?

that's good. I guess that just means you were looking at the wrong main this whole time.
