BLACKBERREST3 Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 I was about to send this request to github, but figured I'd come here. I would like a way to edit flags/constants in pkhex that do not appear in the dropdown menu. Would it be possible to add a feature to extend functionality of the flag/constant editor to custom values? Ex. 0x1EE=3 (hex to decimal 494 = 3). This stems from trying to uncheck flags/constants for starter gifts in ORAS. https://projectpokemon.org/home/forums/topic/34626-oras-and-xy-flag-research-thread/ I have also tried to use a hex editor to change these values, but I must be doing something wrong. Any help is appreciated.

Any help is appreciated. after you hex edited those values, did you open the save in PKHeX, then save the save in PKHeX (even if you did nothing in PKHeX), so that PKHeX fixes the checksums? edit: Also, what you're referencing appears to be Event Constants. (highlighted, bolded, underlined and color changed for your consumption ) No idea why the representation is in hex, since PKHeX uses Decimals, but maybe it's that? edit again: That post was made when an older PKHeX, displayed event constants as hex values. To use the values as the user posted, convert from hex then divide by 2 to get the 'new' constant ID in the current UI.
BLACKBERREST3 Posted April 12, 2020 Author Posted April 12, 2020 I didn't divide by 2! XD Thanks for your help, it worked for me. 1
