How does home update it’s Pokédex from bank?

Is it a one time thing during the initial import, or can it be updated with new Pokémon caught in the 3ds game, (if so, how to trigger a update), along with this, if you import a save with less Pokémon in the Pokédex into bank, will it then remove them from homes pokedex?

It can be updated. Go into Bank, then press Y to select main (during box shifting), and select Pokedex. This way, Bank's Pokedex is updated.

Then transfer a mon to HOME. HOME's dex gets updated then.

Unless they glitched it, no, it would not remove, only add.
(tho in this cases there's nothing to add)

Thanks, I noticed it will not import any shiny;s that are only in the bank dex, shiny's only show if you import the pokemon itself, kinda thew a wrench in my plan of just paying for one month of home to complete the pokedex, and then just use it for that.
