Only Gaining 1 exp per battle Ultra Sun

I am only gaining 1 exp point per battle after using PKHeX to give myself the other starters since I am using the CItra Emulator and cant trade them to myself.

Was the EXP gain issue there before you gave yourself the other starters
(i.e. the starter you received in-game is just fine?)

If so, wait till you reach the Pokémon Center on Route 1, then give yourself the other starters.
If they don't have your trainer details, make sure you add your OT name as their Handling Trainer/Not OT Trainer.

it was after i gave them and it affected all of my pokemon, i kind of got a work around using the exp multiplier cheat and set it to a low value (x2) seems to fix it

Have you used any cheats, also are you playing on Citra?
