only supporting gen 7

i tried to edit my pokemon emerald because i accidentally got rid of something i needed but it said "Binary is not compatible with save file, current sav generation: 7" i want to know if this is my save or the actual program and how i can fix it

You did not load a save file. PKHeX does not support save states.
