ingame pokedex not loading correctly

I did search for a solution to this, im new to all this so maybe im missing some key terminology.

 

Getting on with it.. I've saved the pkm files from sapphire, emerald, leaf green. then loaded all those into the PC (in game) on my Platinum save file. The issue is the pokemon that were loaded into the ingame PC (they are there, which is good) but the pokedex entries for them are not. Is there a work around for this, other than going through manually and editing the save file for the seen/caught for individual pokemon.

So for example. Moved over Mewtwo from Leaf Green via pkhex to platinum and while he does show up in the PC there is no pokedex entry for him just the --- line in the 150 slot.

Is the national pokedex unlocked?

Is "Modify Pokedex" checked via Options->Set to SAV ?

Yes to both questions.

OK, so I opened up the save in pkhex and when looking at any of the pkhex transferred pokemon the 'caught' box is checked, but its greyed out, while the seen box is not greyed out but blank. However, selecting any pokemon above or below it makes the fields go back to both blank.

Im guessing then if i want to fix this, i'll need to go in and manually change the invididual pokedex entries? Ultimately I'll do it, but want to make sure there was no further advice you could offer as it will be time consuming. Thanks.

just select bulbasaur and hold the down arrow key on your keyboard to have it auto-fix any errors

setting gen4 pokedex bitflags outside of the Pokedex editor is currently bugged
