Pokemon Birthday Easter Egg

Am I the only one who never knew after all these years the Pokemon Center threw a little celebration for you on your birthday?

I just happened to load the game up and walk in to a Pokemon Center, I then thought the game had crashed as I couldn't move / the screen was really dark, however the game then displayed a little Easter egg:

Variations of this seem to be in the games from Pokemon Black / White onwards.

I've genuinely learned something new there lol.

I knew about this, but didn't play them on my actual birthday so never got to see it for myself on real hardware. That'll hopefully change next year
