After all of the chaos that Team Flare caused in the Kalos region, I’m sure Ash could use some R&R. Little did he know that a tropical vacation was in the near future! Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon features Ash learning the Alolan customs while living on Melemele Island in the Alola region. Ash has always had a knack for making friends where ever he goes; nothing can isolate him! With the help of his new pals, Ash discovers how exciting his newly chosen lifestyle can be. According to Pokemon.com, this will be the 20th season of the Pokémon cartoon. The site also notes that episodes of Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon will be aired on DisneyXD, switching from longtime host Cartoon Network.
