Using PkHex with Emerald and Emulator

Hey all, new to using PkHex.

How can I import my Emerald ROM into PkHex to edit? I'm using VBA on Windows 11 for my emulator, and I'm exporting (what I believe to be) a 128K Flash .SAV file, but when I load it in, I get error:

"Attempted to load an unsupported file type/size.

[My file path]

File Size

131072 bytes (0x20000)"

When you played emerald on VBA go to Options> Emulator> Save type> Flash 128

After that play the game and save in game. A .sav file will be created and that is the file you will open with PKHex

Are you using the latest version posted in the download thread?

Has the save file been saved at least twice?
