Hi,

I would like to know if there's a way to randomize the PID (and EC) of all the pokemon in a box.

I tried to look around on the forum or with the mass editor but can't find a solution.

Also, the last japanese event Greninja is shown as illegal.

Thanks

PKHeX uses an internal wc6 database; if the event was contributed recently then it wouldn't come in the compiled executable.

To expand the wondercard database with recent/custom events, create a 'wc6' folder in the same location as the exe, then put your wc6's in.

Batch modification can be done via the Batch Editor (via Tools). See the Frequently Asked Questions post regarding how to use the Batch Editor (especially the final few sentences).

Oh a little problem.

For older pokemon, PID and EC should be the same.

If I randomize PID and EC, EC won't match PID for pre gen pokemon.

Is there a condition to select all pre6 gen pokemon and then .PID=EncryptionConstant? Would the 6gen mark (blue pentagon) do the job and which variable is it?

Or is there another way?

And to be sure, is EC linked to PID on current gen? If yes, when I randomize EC after PID, will it be linked to the new PID value or is it fully random?

Sorry if I miss some obvious answers.

Edit : found help on IRC

You can use Version to check the Origin game with X = 24, Y = 25, AS = 26, OR = 27.

But it's not possible to use a value like PID and give it to EC.

And

"Is it important to change EC after PID on 6th gen, or it doesn't affect each other?

If it is, we don't know how, and Nintendo doesn't check for linkage."

Edit 2 :

"Confirmed little bug, will be fixed on next update

.EncryptionConstant=$rand

.PID=$rand

which will make the EC=PID for gen3-5 pkm and random otherwise"

Thanks Kaphotics
