HottSushiz Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Hmm isn't Final Fantasy 13 50 gigs, or quite large? because it is 3 cds, so i think that's where the extra gigs come useful. It's funny, as soon as Sony releases a price drop, Microsoft and Nintendo follow. Ahh bitter rivalry, though Nintendo is always on top.
Ooka Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Um, that would be the size of the game on the disk, not the size of the install.
YuzuruHitokiri Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 The HDD is used primarily to ease loading times, as HottSushiz mentioned, the games get quite large (I'm looking at YOU, Kojima!), and it takes less time to load from the HDD than a BD. Some titles I have that do that are pretty fast even though some are large. Other uses for a massive HDD is music, picture, and video storage and DLC installation... ... I just realized that I only have 20 or so GB's left even though I only have a dozen or so games... An external 2 TB hard drive is looking sexier by the second...
(s.i.e) Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 i'm still thinking about it. it's expensive and i hear stories that the people who got them arn't as happy with it as they should. it misses a few important things. i'm not sure if i'm going to pay for that.
