tudor28 Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 i've seen that the requirements for pkhex have been edited in X-20 thru X-22 Applet Version (the number after your Firmware Version, no new3DS) using Web Injection. that means that now older version can use the qr or web injection exploit?
Kaphotics Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 No, it is just saying that the two digits after your firmware version need to be 20, 21, or 22. Example: People with out of date consoles who update their firmware with cartridges will not update their applet version, thus ending up with something like 9.4.0-12U. 12 is not in the range of exploitable applet versions.
tudor28 Posted July 24, 2015 Author Posted July 24, 2015 thx. i have 1 last question. can i upgrade a 4.5firmware 3ds to x.20-22 firmware or it will update to 9.9?
tudor28 Posted July 24, 2015 Author Posted July 24, 2015 i mean if i get a 3ds that has 4.5.0-10 E and i use cooking mama that requires 9.2.0 it will update to -20 applet or it will stay 10?
Kaphotics Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 No, game cartridges do not update the applets. Stay at 9.2.0 and below; use SaveDataFiler.
