Battlemon Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Hello guys, When I catch a Legendary Pokemon in ORAS, for example Terrakion and then edit the IVs,the Nature and make it Shiny, will it still be legit? I mean not just going with Bank and WiFi, I mean like 100% legit? I know there is nothing like Pokecheck atm (RIP).
RustInPeace Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 It will be legal, all legends except Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, and Deoxys are not shiny locked in ORAS. IVs and nature don't affect legality, only moves and ability (slots) do. "Legit" is just an imagined term to differentiate pokemon and their origins, whether they were untouched or "touched," which one wouldn't truly know unless someone said they edited a pokemon.
Battlemon Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 Thank you for the quick answer. So IVs and Nature has nothing to do with the PID anymore? What about the Ability? Can I change the Ability of a Torchic for example from Blaze to Speed Boost without any risks? or do I have to change something else to make it legit? For example, In Gen5 you had to change the hex 42h from 00 to 01 for hidden abilities to make it legit.
RustInPeace Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) PIDs in Gen VI seem to only indicate the Pokemon Shiny Value, it's not impacted by IVs and nature, nothing really. You can change natures, IVs, and abilities at will. Edited February 21, 2015 by RustInPeace
Rune Knight Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I can't even find the hidden hex stuff on pkhex... maybe hidden abilities works different now?
