aos10 Posted January 29, 2015 Share Posted January 29, 2015 i tried to back up pokemon ruby ( my own cartridge ) , it save it as .3DS file but when i try to launch the game it says the save is corrupted i tried using program called cart2sav , it produced a 1 mb file , pkhex didn't accpet it is there a way just to decrypt the powersave save game and use it on gateway ? RustInPeace Posted January 29, 2015 Share Posted January 29, 2015 That's always going to happen because GW so far doesn't support card2 game backup/restoring. You have to start that rom game over, save the game (doesn't matter when and where), go to SDF to export save, then restore a decrypted powersave (renamed to "main") to the appropriate folder generated by SaveDataFiler. The folder is named by date and time of exporting, 20150129074313 for example, and the subfolder's name is the ID number of your cart (my OR has an ID number ending in 11c4). There's a website that tells you 3DS id numbers, in case you backup more than 1 game and get lost. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
