  1. 1. Do you agree with the terms or not?

    • Yes most definitely!
    • No, I want to keep arguing and this whole thing is stupid!

I have noticed lately that well arguments about which starter is best have plagued a couple of threads. Why don't we just lay that to rest and just agree on this: All starters have their own strengths and weaknesses and it really depends on the pokemon's upbringing. And under certain circumstances one starter can own another. Also we must all admit that no pokemon is immortal for every one of them can be beaten. Plus all arguers made excellent points in defending their pokemon preference.

With that said I would like everyone to agree on those terms by saying I agree and then signing the post. Plus vote on in the pole. In order to move on we must forgive and forget. I will forgive everyone for the dissing of piplup and I am sorry for the picture of chimchar and turtwig in a cave with a rushing flood. We all need to be friends. Like these guys!

Hope you liked the pics and arguments can be put aside!

I agree,

I want to keep arguing.

As it helps keep people informed.

Debate is often the best way to get information.

I dont see what more there is to be covered! We have said so much on so many different threads it will be hard for someone to decipher it. We need to stop while we still can and get down to writing a guide on it. Quite frankly mine or at least my first one just didn't do it and what has been said now if chock full of information more then my guide held. I am going to start on that project! Feel free to join me.

Guides are not always the answer.

Sometimes raw information is best, so people can interpret it for themselves.

A guide that includes what we have all said, of course it has to be neatly organized and flow nicely. I'm not saying what we have now is bad. I'm just saying that what we have now is not organized and it is not the most desirable source if one is looking for quick and easy laid out info.

Sometimes debates can have a positive, and negative output, sometimes you can get a lot of information as what Damio stated, also it's a way that people can understand things right, and be proven from a statement, they're following which is false.

The debate can be either good, or bad, it really just depends on people actions.

It can be good and bad, depending on how the people in the debate act. Sometimes persistence is the key.

i think we need to try to renember: debate, not argue. saying "piplup suxx0rz roflzlmaoXD" is useless, saying "i never found piplup to be much use, due to its relatively low stats, and limited moveset." is good. but i'm not really sure what asking "why can prinplup learn steel claw when it has fins?" does to/for the community.

We have already stated that debate is only good if you provide evidence.

And that useless comments that analyse the debate are useless.

Yes debating is the best way to settle something because new info will arise from that debate all the time

Ok I see all of your points and you all have good ones. Yet, I don't see what is wrong with my point. The least someone could do is organize all the information we have because it is on like 3 different threads and quite honestly it is hard to follow if you were not in the dead heat of it. Plus, don't you think it has gone on a little to long?

Look at me! I'm trying to stop the argument and here I am arguing to stop arguing. Ugh, I'm appalled with myself.
