Pokegen Crash (RI4 Save Dongle)

I searched the forum if someone else had the same problem but I couldn't find the answer. Today I recived my save dongle today and I used it on my White 2 cartridge (italian), I accually got the save file .sav but pokegen (3.1.13) crashes when I open the save file and creates PokeGen.dmp file.

I can't upgrade my save dongle's firmware, the problem might be this but I wonder if anyone else had the same problem. Thank you. :smile:

The backup dongle didn't actually get any of the data from the games.

Accually I am not sure, the save dongle came without the upgrade button, I couldn't update the firmware.

I managed to update the firmware of the save dongle. Now it does work with both Soul Silver and White 2, but it doesn't work with Platinum Version. Can you check the save files? I am trying to understand the problem but I guess it's about the firmware. Thank you for all your help.

Your platinum save is an empty file. Maybe try dusting off the contacts of the cartridge, making sure it's fully inserted?

I just cleaned the contacts, but it didn't work. I think the game might be not compatible with the dongle. Thank you for your help.

Edit: I guess I'm not the only one.
