DarkCarbink Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Hai Peeps! I'm really struggling on my most recent purchase, the Power Saver. So, I do all of the instructions OK and then plug it in and it just comes up with the most ridiculous error in the space time continuum. It first comes up with, 'Cartridge Error' for 1 second maybe and then goes straight to 'INSERT YOUR GAME CARTRIDGE' Which I already have and just goes in one big loop. I even tried multiple solutions such as licking the metal, it might sound gross but it actually WORKED for some people.. Does anyone have any solutions or methods that I could try? :creep:
theSLAYER Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 You probably have region issues. Like a European Powersaves and a US cart, for example. E-mail them; search up our powersaves thread on how to e-mail them.
DarkCarbink Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Yeah but I bought this yesterday and it was working fine until this morning when it was just going back and forth with the same messages. Right now I am trying the alcohol method to see if the cartridge may be dirty..

Right now I am trying the alcohol method to see if the cartridge may be dirty.. It may backup other games (without codes) but it won't be able to backup X or Y if wrong region. Also, it can't back up Pokemon X or Y if not connected to internet.
