Something special for giratina?

According to a load of platinum reviews on youtube, if you trade the giratina you catch in platinum to d/p, something special happens

anyone know what it is?

Nothing special happens to my knowledge, are you able to link me that review, also they may be talking about Giratina's origin forme.

If it's in its Origin Forme, it will revert to Altered Forme, if that's what you mean...

You fight giratina in origin form (platinum) then if you catch it, giratina reverts to its altered forme. Giratina must hold the platinum orb in order for it to stay in origin forme. The platinum orb can be found in the distortion world I believe.

Nothing really happens if you trade your giratina into d/p, i had my Pt giratina in my party when i was trading with my Pearl and the Griseous Orb is tooken away and put into your bag since that item doesnt exist in Pearl

Ok thanks for that little tid bit. My friend really wanted his giratina in origin forme but he didn't know exactly where to find it. So that is that then the whole thing is solved. No more need for this right? Or maybe we were all wrong?:confused:
