Trying to restore a .sts file (DuoS DSEMU), PokeDoc doesn't work and PokeGen isn't what I'm looking for?

I accidentally clicked 'Save State' and did an overwrite of my original save. Apparently I saved the intro scene to Black 2 and now when I use 'Load State' it just loads the intro. I apologize if there IS actually a program I can use, but I tried the SGM and after I continued by pressing B, nothing happened.

If anyone knows what I can do, please help. I am at a loss and it seems the only thing I can do is start over and that makes me laugh for some reason, because I spent 2 weeks rigorously going through every, single, spot and npc trying to not end the game until I had my fill of adventuring and leveling me pokemon'.

Again, PokeTrainer down! I need a good smack on the head in the form of a proper save editor/restore point software tool!

save states are just memory snapshots; if you've been saving your game like any normal trainer all you have to do is have the game load your save file (soft reset/hard reset)

Ah, thanks! Yet I started over and I had a better start progress than last time! I guess things are jsut meant to happen.
