help with saving to game

So I do every and hit save note saving ona flashdrive and the game is on flashdrive. So I hit save load the game but I don't see the pokemon I put in party using pokegen. Whats wrong?

What are you doing differently than the following?

1. Using Pokegen, load the save on the flashcart.
   
2. Make changes (please be specific as to what changes you made.)
   
3. Save the changes to the same file you loaded.
   
4. Load the game on the flashcart to try to see the changes in-game.
   

If you're doing nothing different than the above, please tell us what flashcart you're using.

So I did everything you said to do. The changes I made were I put a Lugio in my party. I also tried putting a Artcuino and a Inferape in my party and I cleared my party so that I had four open slots and the flasdrive I am using is Sandisk cruzer slide 8gb.

How do you get your changes on your game? Or do you use an emulator?
