prectorian Posted July 5, 2013 Share Posted July 5, 2013 The Pokémon Global Link Website which was first introduced in September 2010 allows you to play in the Dream World, play mini flash games, and customize your C-Gear, Musical, and Pokedex Skin for Pokemon Black and White 1 and Pokémon Black and White 2 is heading for it's permanent closure on January 14th 2014 (Tuesday). It will then be replaced with a new version of Pokémon Global Link for Pokémon X and Y. Details of the new version yet to be disclosed by the website. The closing phases; October 1st - 12th 2013; Scheduled Maintenance (As Usual) October 12th 2013 - Onward; New Registration will not longer be accepted, existing members can't register additional games to their account December 10th 2013; No longer able to tuck-in any pokemon into the Dream World, any sleeping pokemon may still be woken up, and it's your last chance to customize your C-Gear Skin, Pokedex Skin, and Musical Data January 14th 2014; Final Closure of the Website PGL service (If you need to wake up any pokemon from the PGL so that any befriended pokemon will be registered into your game and any customized option reflected into your game save, do so by January 13th 2014, any action done after January 14th will not be reflected into your game save), all WI-FI service will be permanently closed Here's the time table for the above mentioned phases; * X = Cannot, O = Can Once the site is closed down for all regions, any pokemon un-woken will no longer be downloadable to your game card's save file, and all C-Gear Skins, Pokedex Skins, items and berries gathered, dream world befriended pokemon, etc. no longer available. Thus this officially marks the end of the NDS/NDSL's Pokémon era. The 2013 Global Showdown Wi-FI Competition held on July 26th - 29th will the the last ever WI-FI competition held for Pokémon Black and White 1 and 2. As the release of the Pokémon X and Y 3DS game draw closer, and the Pokémon Black and White's PGL site's closure moves closer, the new Pokémon Global Link site plans and it's official launching will be disclosed.
