Can't save my edited file...

I'm using an M3 Real flash cart with an AP Patched copy of Black Version 2.

So I go into Pokegen, load my save file, edit my Cobalion that's the lead on my team, click on "Save As", replace the save file, load the newly made file... and I get the same old, original Cobalion.

Is it because I'm running a patched copy of Black Version 2?

no, you have to "set" the pokemon back into your party once you're done editing

lol, maybe I should have watched a tutorial or something. Well thanks for that, such a minor thing to overlook.
