Hack of: Pokemon Red US/EU (GameBoy)

Introduction:

Hello everyone, Break here with an update to my old romhack "Pokemon red proud eyes edition". I am still very new to romhacking...so this is really a personal project I have been working on in my free time.

Storyline:

This hack has the same storyline as the original...no dialogue has been changed.

Features:

-The type of pokemon that appear on the title screen have been updated

-Your rival's party pokemon have been updated depending on your starting pokemon at different points in the game

-All of the gym leaders & elite 4's pokemon and moves have been updated

-Upon defeating a gym leader, you get 3 of their TMs instead of 1

-All of the casino prizes and coin costs have been updated

-The in-game trades you can do have been updated throughout the game

-Pokemarts have gotten a major update, so they feel more personalized

-And even more extensive wild pokemon edit this time, so you are now able to catch them all in one game

this hack is not hard at all...maybe the gym battles are more challenging, but the overall game if very fun.

Oh, well I did not play it so I was just looking at the screenies and saw Aerodactyl and Lapras, whose stats would be much above average Pokemon at that point. That has only made me wonder if it required tons of grinding.

And I wonder why everybody is going nuzlocke these days? I started Red version on Nuzlocke a while ago, but stopped for a while due to real life and all. Casualty so far was Lv. 19 Rattata, which hurts because it was the first time I really used one, and Hyper Fang was deadly, and it would have evolved in just one more level. Stupid crits and 99.6% accuracy rule

yeah, the gym leaders tend to have better pokemon...stat-wise.

but at the level that you encounter them...they have a limited attack-pool.

hmm...so far, no one had informed me they had to grind at all.

well, i am not too sure why 90% of the people playing this hack are doing the nuzlocke challenge.
