JRT Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I'm at a place where there's cable internet and a belkin router. All the Fake GTS seem to be using this as there IP Address: fe80::5efe:192.168.2.8%15. I was told that that's my IPv6 IP Address and before I was using my IPv4 IP Address. Is there anyway I can fix this?
formlesstree4 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 The IP address being returned to the fake GTS is an IPv6 one. Hidden within that, though, appears to possibly be an IPv4 one of 192.168.2.8, I don't know though. That looks to be somewhat of a local IP instead.
JRT Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 Ok so the Microsoft website gave me a software tool to Disable my IPV6. However, I can't access the router's setting page (I know the ip address for it), so is there another way I can do port forwarding?
