gomanme
Will it still work if I put on the 100% capture rate?
jariesuicune
Will what work? The Dream World? If so, Dream World connection is ONLY based on what is registered in your Pokedex. Either way, I can't think of anything that the 100% Catch Rate code could affect. All it does is affect the calculation for Pokeball catches to always result in a catch. (not sure the specifics). Anyway, it shouldn't interfere with anything, code or otherwise.
The Red Lady
Never mind, I fixed. had to go into the Dex and press select there too. I used the Fix Code originally posted by KyoMcFizzle for White (see below) and it erased my pokedex until I actually go to save, then it says I still have a complete dex. Is there a way to fix this? jariesuicune
For any future reference: PokeGen is the ONLY safe way to go for the Pokedex code. All other pre-made codes could run a risk. In fact, the most common ones are about 6 lines long, like the one shown just above, and will only (hopefully, or else bad stuff) do one of these 2 things: -Set your Pokedex to 100% complete or -Set your Pokedex to 000% complete Neither is what you want. Use PokeGen and make it what you want. Just make sure you pay attention to the (very few) settings involved. There are proper explanations of how to use it already made, on either the PokeGen Update thread or related threads in it's forum. Hopefully that info will let THIS thread finally rest in peace, having served it's full purpose, plus some.

They write the same value to all of the Pokedex data, which isn't how it works. You're correct in that using PokeGen is the only option for valid data. Leiren
I'm sorry guys, but I've some problems. I copied the correct code for the white version, started the game, pressed select and then, captured a wild pokemon. After that I saved and turned off (just for precaution). At this point, I thought that everything was ok, so I opened the Pokedex, but It gave me an error (Basically, I had to turn off the Ds to go on...) So, what is the problem? My game's version? (Italian?) . In that case is really strange , because I presume that the code worked a bit (or the error message in the pokedex would not come out)...Ideas? Thanks very much and sorry for the non perfect grammar lol
jariesuicune
Sorry, but I'm pretty sure you did it wrong. Just use Pokegen. Make sure you have it set to target your Italian White version. The "erase Pokedex then capture a Pokemon" code has been made completely useless with the updates to Pokegen. As to what went wrong with your first attempt, 99.9% of Gen V codes are Region/Version-locked. That means a code needs to be written specifically for your Italian/White version to work properly (if at all). Close variant might still affect your game, but they will most likely work wrong or not how they were meant to. Be careful to make sure you're not using the wrong code for your game. By the way, I love your avatar! MOEMON ARCEUS! >_< You wouldn't happen to know where I could get the absolutely complete collection of them, would you? Leiren
Ok then, I'll try and then I'll let you know (I'm pretty sure I have the entire collection saved somewhere lol . Give me some times and I'll send you the link )

sliver123
is there a way to fix pokemon black jp error 13204 i tried the error fix but its same remains pokemon seen it says 649 but i can t enter pokedex.
jariesuicune
... so, you used a "complete pokedex" code, your save info says you've seen all 649, but you can't enter the Pokedex? As in, the game crashes when you try to view your Pokedex? If so, first mistake: using a "complete Pokedex" code at all on a Gen V game. From the beginning of Gen V and all future games, using such a code is always a bad idea, as this entire thread shows. (You can NOT have a totally complete Pokedex and get away with it now; as in, you are blocked from Dream World if any non-legally-obtainable Pokemon/Forms are in your Dex.) Hopefully your code's effects can be overwritten; I'd try making a code for Pokedex using PokeGen and applying that (PokeGen lets you custom-set your Pokedex to however you want, so you can have a 'legally complete" dex). jariesuicune
... wow, I feel really embarrassed to be asking for help on this thread again... So, some time back I'd managed to get the Pokedex code(s) onto my ARDSi, but it seems I'm having trouble again. The manager's files have the code correct, but when I move it to the ARDSi, it instead copies a different code, I think the one just before it in the data file. Is this the same problem (code too long) or something else? (I've not needed to use the Pokedex code for some time...)
Bond697
that's awfully strange. try clearing off the AR through the manager and then re-add your codes. the manager is a kinda finicky.
jariesuicune
I tried that. It's one of my first solutions, as well as resetting the ARDSi. I've been dealing with the 'finicky'-ness of that program since I first started using Pokegen (though my only problem is with the Dex code...) I'll try wiping all the codes from the manager, then just add that one (so it can't copy the code above it), but is it possible something has changed from one of the updates?
jariesuicune
Well, that didn't work. I deleted all the codes from the ARDSi, wiped the codes from the ARDSi Manager, added the Dex code, copied it over, checked it on the ARDSi... and it was blank. ugh... I don't remember how it was I had finally managed to get it to copy ALL my codes (Dex codes as well) to the ARDSi. So frustrating...
AdriMaybe
I'm so confused. I don't know what to do or what code to use to fix the 13204 error on my Pokemon Black...do you think you can help me? haha
jariesuicune
How did you start getting it? Have you tried the constantly-suggested (on this thread) use of PokeGen? If not, do so, that should fix it.
Draco856
A note to anyone who makes their own Complete Pokedex code...make sure you choose the forms and genders that will show up...I just made my own and my game kept freezing when I went over a pokemon with an alternate form because I didn't choose anything for it. I was stumped for a while. I hope this saves some people a few headaches.
jariesuicune
Thanks for the note! I had kinda figured this when going through, but it's nice (?) that someone found out and reported. Now if I could just get the code onto my ARDSi...

jariesuicune
If your Pokedex is empty, I suspect that'd also count as an illegal Dex. Just make sure that you've got at least the starters and a few others in it. As to my problem: Yep, I still can't figure out the trick to getting the Pokedex Code onto an ARDSi (I don't have the micro SD card one). If anyone knows how, please let me know? TaylorLL98
Something that I think might be helpful: Incase anyone has Black 2, I made a code to empty the pokedex and another to fill it without shiny pokemon. I remember someone saying that the reason the errors were happening is because the orignal full pokedex code included pokemon that didn't have shiny forms. I haven't tested either of them yet, but I'll post them incase anyone wants to test them. To activate press select. First here's an empty pokedex: 94000130 FFFB0000 B2000024 00000000 DC000000 00020CAA 90000000 FFF90000 DA000000 00000000 D4000000 00000006 D7000000 00000000 D0000000 00000000 94000130 FFFB0000 jariesuicune
Either way, anyone can just do that on their own with PokeGen. And the reason problems occur is because of having Shiny Forms that are not legally obtainable (all of them have the data in the game). This has been covered through this thread. Covered and solved. Because of how PokeGen works, there's really no point in putting a 'complete Dex' code anywhere, since there is no proper thing anymore. (you still can't have specific Shiny Pokemon. Originally, there were three Legends that you couldn't even have, though that is now not the case). If you have one that does what you want, cool! But it won't necessarily be the same anyone wants. This topic has been covered to death. ANY information to be known is already covered. The only likely exception would probably come when X & Y versions come out. Yummyzarz
Ok, so I've had this problem with my Black 2, and was wondering if this code is supposed to work for it too. I don't think it is because I tried it to no success, but if you could come out with a code for black 2 that would be great. This is the only website I've seen any real answers for this problem, so that's that. Please email me or something when/if you add a black 2 code to this. Thx!
