Sav file corrupted. cannot save progress anymore please help.

Hi,

This is my first post so excuse me if I posted in the wrong forum.

I have a R4i pokemon diamond.sav file.

Recently switched to acekard2i and it loads the game sav file fine.. I can play, but when I try to save it, and say yes to overwrite existing file, it freezes. on next game load it says gave save file is corrupted, previous file will be used.

I tried using pokesav pc app but that did not help either.

Any help in getting this issue resolved is greatly appreciated.

What happens when you press no to Overwrite Existing save file? Does it not do it or does it attempt to create a new save file?

If I say no to overwrite existing file, it takes me back to the menu no attempt to create a new file
