If I say no to overwrite existing file, it takes me back to the menu no attempt to create a new file

Hi, This is my first post so excuse me if I posted in the wrong forum. I have a R4i pokemon diamond.sav file. Recently switched to acekard2i and it loads the game sav file fine.. I can play, but when I try to save it, and say yes to overwrite existing file, it freezes. on next game load it says gave save file is corrupted, previous file will be used. I tried using pokesav pc app but that did not help either. Any help in getting this issue resolved is greatly appreciated. Thankx.
