clearlybadatthis Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I don't know if it's entirely obvious, but I'm a noob when it comes to editing pokemon. I recently purchased an action replay DSi. I don't know what the version is (it's the one with the micro sd slot) but I don't know if that's even important. My problem is, like many others, that my computer is failing to install proper device drivers and therefore labeling the card as an 'Unknown Device' I've searched and searched and I've consistently come up with the same solution: Start Menu>Devices and Printers>Unknown Device>Properties>Drivers>Properties>Change Settings>Drivers>Update Drivers>Browse and select either the disc or the x64 bit driver .inf I downloaded from Datel's website I follow all of these steps and when I select the proper driver and try to update, windows 'determines that the device drivers are up-to-date' and the device is still unknown and unusable I'm running Windows 7 x64 bit. Any help would be appreciated. As a footnote, if this problem cannot be resolved, is there a way I could import new codes via micro sd through the micro sd slot on the ds card?
Delta Blast Burn Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 1. Boot up your DS with the ARDSi (with an SD card inserted, but no game) inserted, go in to settings, check the box for "Use SD Card for codelist database", then press a with Export Codelist highlighted. 2. Turn off DS. 3. remove the SD cardfrom ARDSi and, plug it into your computer. 4. Bring up the drive and copy the file "ActionReplay.xml" to the folder C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay DSi Code Manager\local_codelists\ 5. Run the code manager, and in the Bottom Right section it should be there Add/Edit codes until your satisfied. 6. Go to the folder listed previously copy the file to your sd card's Root Folder for example "G:\" and select yes to over write the previous file. 7.Boot up your DS with the ARDSi (with an SD card inserted, but no game) inserted, go into Files highlight "ActionReplay.xml" press A and wait. The colored # in parenthesis "(#)" Represents the percent completed.
