iHeartGold Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I was looking up R4Revolution and Acekard to see what could I buy. I have a few questions: Which is better? Does Acekard support Wi-Fi and how good? How good is R4 Wi-Fi? Does any of them support wireless? Thanks in advance.
randomspot555 Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 If you want something that is cheap and will break and be difficult to use, get one of the R4 knock offs floating around. No new R4s are made because the company that made them no longer exists. Someone else can tell you what to get. But I always hear good things about CycloDS and Acekard.
Bond697 Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 do yourself the favor and get a dstwo. it's an extra $15 or so, but it can play anything, has an extensive plugin library(including snes/gba/gb/gbc/nes/genesis emus), can handle 4 saves per game, 4 save states per game, has an onboard processor for clean DS emulation(i.e. NO PATCHES to play your personal dumped game collection), and is updated often. it has no peer.
HottSushiz Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I also recommend the Supercard DStwo simply because it's the only Flash Cart available that can emulate GBA games. But I've heard that the CycloDS 2 is coming out. So i would wait for that. But if time isn't on your side i would purchase the DSTwo.
YuzuruHitokiri Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I heard the iPlayer could as well... I use an AceKard 2i though, haven't had any problems with it...
