Sabeta
Don't the almost always pack EQ?
Tbird
Meh not as much as I thought apparently a lot seem to be doing DD/Taunt(Sub)/Water Fall/ Stone edge (bounce), DD/Rest/Water/Stone edge(Sleep talk) and other weird stuff. I guess your best bet is to use heatran to bait EQ and if EQ doesn't come then assume you're safe.
Sabeta
thing is, I'm thinking about switching out Tran for Nape.
Gin
I like Ape on this team for sure. I'd probably give Swampert some attack EVs and use it, Ape, and Shaymin to bust heads. Pretty simple FWG core, though you'd have to make sure you predict well with Scizor to beat Starmie
Sabeta
Well, when I'm paying any attention (which I do better on DS than on PO etc.) My prediction is quite epic. So I've no worries there.
Gin
I'll play against, if you want, to test it
Sabeta
I want to get the bugs worked out atm. lol. So I still need a much more solid way of dealing with Gyarados. =Sabedit= It'll take a minor calculation, but I might know of a way. nvm, I was thinking of giving Swampy HP-elec, but it wont work out. Gin
HP Electric vap is the ultimate gyara counter
Sabeta
Yeah, but I had to ditch it for Tentacruel, who is very needed. =w=
Sabeta
Oi, I just thought, what about Jolteon>Shaymin? I found out I have a Togekiss weak anyway, and this was the best way to take care of it.
Tbird
Jolteon + Heatran + Tentacruel... If Flygon is down that'd be an unfortunate spot to be in .
Sabeta
How about Zapdos then? (Since Rotom forms are barred from me)
Tbird
Zapdos works well, give it a whirl .
Sabeta
Hmm, now I just need to know what set to run.
Tbird
Try and run ... well Bulk offence ~ Thunderbolt ~ Heatwave ~ U-Turn/ Hp Grass/ Ground ~ Roost I'd say you want enough speed to out pace luke, enough HP/Def to live a Stone edge off of gyara, Enough Special attack to OHKO gyara, and throw any left over into special defence. Sabeta
sounds like a plan.
Tbird
You could try: 96 HP <- Perfect HP number for leftovers and SR 248 Def <- roost stall against luke/gyara 88 Sp Atk <- OHKOs Gyar, high chance of OHKO with rocks on Luke 8 Sp Def <- Excess 76 Spe <- Out speeds Luke by 1 EDIT: W/ + speed nature
Sabeta
Now the only question that remains, is how does it fare against Togekiss?
Tbird
Fairly well I imagine, you outspeed it, resist air slash + Aura sphere, take pitiful damage from Espeed (if it runs it) and I imagine you can 2HKO it with Tbolt. I would test it... but I'm just about to grab some food .
0660
As many others have offered, I'll have a test battle with you if you ever need one.
Sabeta
Well, I am currently playtesting this team on PokeLab.
Sabeta
I think I'm going to call the team done, I'll test out infernape on this team, and afterwords I'll finish up the OP. Zapdos is win.
